I am so happy that its the last day of May. This month dragged on for me. I keep reflecting back on events that took place at the beginning of the month and it baffles me that they were at the start of the month, it feels like they were two months ago at least. My reading was a little bit slow this month since I had a lot of house projects and yard work but overall it was a pretty good month so let’s get into it.

Im taking on the Goodreads Summer Reading Challenge!
I always love a good reading challenge and putting together this tbr made me really excited to read, more excited then I have been lately. I was pouring through my library catalog looking for books to fulfill some of the challenges.
This challenge really brings me back to the summer challenges that my library would host every year and I loved participating in them as a child.
I don’t think I’m going to finish my entire tbr but I’m looking forward to trying. Hopefully more interest in reading means more interest in blogging so fingers crossed!

WWW Wednesday 5/29
It has been a week. I’ve been doing so much gardening but I’m finally at a point where I have nothing left to re-pot, nothing left to plant, nothing to dig up…just maintenance and weeding. Nothing but respect to anyone who does landscaping for a living, I was in my yard for 4 hours and all I could think about was food and a nap, it was exhausting. I am super happy with how my yard is looking, if everything takes I’ll have lots of vegetables and strawberries to eat, tons of herbs, roses and peony’s, and a bee garden for my bee house.
I’m tired just thinking about everything lol. Despite all my yard work I was able to read a few books so lets get into that.

April Book Haul
Something miraculous happened…I bought two books in the month of April!
April always seems to be a slow release month, there weren’t many books coming out that I had to have. There were two though so let’s get into it.
April Wrap Up
April was another slow reading month but I really enjoyed everything that I read.
That’s something that I’ve been noticing that even though I haven’t been reading a lot but I’ve been loving what I have been reading.
I had hoped to read more but I was traveling and didn’t have as much time as I had thought I would. I went to Oklahoma to go see my mom and it was a wonderful trip, my grandma came with and so my mom, grandma, little sister, and I all piled into a suburban and went on a little road trip. We drove to Arkansas to go to a state park called the Crater of Diamonds and we drove to Memphis Tennessee to go to Graceland. I had such a wonderful time. As soon as I got back though I was hit with such a packed schedule including my BFs 30th birthday, a ton of work to catch up on, Avengers Endgame, our anniversary and I just didn’t have any mental energy to dedicate to the blog until now, so lets get into April’s Wrap Up.
