Wow, this is my first review in over a year! I’m not gonna lie, I had to go look over one of my previous reviews to get an idea of a “how to” almost. It’s been so long, but I finally read a book on a topic that I am very passionate about and I had a lot of say. Lately, I’ll read a book and I don’t feel compelled to do a long review on it, even if I enjoyed it. But that all changes now! This might be one of my favorite reviews I’ve ever done so I really hope you enjoy.

book description via Goodreads:
Moxie girls fight back!
Vivian Carter is fed up. Fed up with her small-town Texas high school that thinks the football team can do no wrong. Fed up with sexist dress codes and hallway harassment. But most of all, Viv Carter is fed up with always following the rules.
Viv’s mom was a punk rock Riot Grrrl in the ’90s, so now Viv takes a page from her mother’s past and creates a feminist zine that she distributes anonymously to her classmates. She’s just blowing off steam, but other girls respond. Pretty soon Viv is forging friendships with other young women across the divides of cliques and popularity rankings, and she realizes that what she has started is nothing short of a girl revolution.
Girls are a Revolutionary soul force that can change the world for real.

I saw this tag over on Drizzleandhurricanebooks and it looked so fun that I wanted to partake in it.

1. Read more than 1 tome
2. Read a graphic novel (still over 500 pages!)
3. Read a tome that is part of a series
4. Buddy read a tome
5. Read an adult novel
American Gods by Neil Gaiman this is going to be my audiobook for the readathon, if I end up finishing this before the end of the readathon then I am going to download the audiobook for Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson.
Anna Karenina: I also have the audiobook for this and it is one of my book goals for the year and I always intended to read this during a Tome Topple Readathon.
I still need to find a tome that is part of a series, I think after I’m done with Warbreaker I will pick up Mistborn: The Final Empire or Ill pick up Drums of Autumn to continue with my Outlander reading. I’ll decide when it comes to it.
I had an alright reading month in June, did June crawl by for anyone else? I’m overlooking this list and it doesn’t feel like I read all of these within the same month.

I’ve already forgotten what I think about this, I remember thinking that it was alright. Some aspects were predictable and then other aspects threw me for a loop, my predictions were incorrect, I do remember that. I do plan on continuing with the series though.
