These Broken Stars

I loved the worldbuilding that Amie and Meghan created, I was so into the Titanic vibes, and the story was so unique to me at the time.

A Thousand Pieces of You

Oh just reminiscing about Paul, I know you can’t see me but I just sighed and put my hand over my heart at the thought of him, I adored that character! Read it for Paul!

Three Dark Crowns

Im a huge fan of this series and I remember feeling so intrigued about everything, the girls, the island, the powers. I highly recommend binge marathoning this series because I just wanted more and more.

Throne of Glass

I hold the Throne of Glass series in a special place in my heart. This series really jumpstarted my love of reading back up. I finished this and just wanted more books in my life, thinking back to when I finished it and it really feels like that was a pivotal moment in my life. I had always been a big reader but I never felt this passionate about it until I read Throne of Glass. That was so melodramatic, you can’t see it but I’m rolling my eyes at myself.

Salt to the Sea

This book was incredibly memorable to me. I think it did a wonderful job of capturing the desperation for survival that consumed a lot of people and showed the lengths that people would go to in order to survive. There were scenes in here that horrified me and still haunt me at times. But its a hypnotic story about an event that not a lot of people know about despite how tragic it is.

I really enjoyed this, the idea of the grim reaper was elevated to an extreme human job and I just love how everything was done.

Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda

This is one of my favorite books of all time, I adore Simon and loved his story, I love how he grew as a person. I just love it so much.

Six of Crows

I dont know what to say about this one, I loved everything. The heist, the characters, the writing, I literally have nothing negative to say about this.

Sky in the Deep

This was a debut earlier this year that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on, it was pitched as a wonder woman meets Vikings and that’s all I knew about it as I jumped into. To me, that was a perfect description and I didn’t feel let down by hype at all, I feel like this story delivered its pitch.

Strange the Dreamer

I think about this book all the time, I also hate myself for not starting Muse of Nightmares yet, but I loved this story, Lazo was a sweet endearing character and I loved the setting of Weep and the giant library at the start.

Its no secret that this is a long time favorite of him, I’ve reread it so many times and I love the audiobook.

A Reaper at the Gates

I think this one is the best of the series so far, I was practically glued to these pages and loved the story arc that took place.

The Rose Society

Again, this one is my favorite of the trilogy. I loved how dark this was and it seemed to really emphasize that Adelina was not a hero.

The Queens Poisoner

This is the first book in the Kingfountain series and it’s fantastic! Such a great start to the series, it’s almost like a prequel to the series.

Queen of Shadows- Hands down the best book in the series! So much happened during this installment and I love the characters that were introduced.

The Name of the Wind

A fantastic epic fantasy, it’s about Kvothe who is telling his entire story to a scribe for the first time, but its so much more than just hearing someone’s life story. There are layers that I just can’t do justice to describe.

This mostly met my expectations, I have a weakness for assassins and school settings, maybe that gave me a bit of a bias when I started this book, but I did enjoy the dark humor and just overall dark this story was.

The Night Circus

This is beautifully written, I’m really not sure what else to say, the circus is written so beautifully and whimsical, this is one of those stories that has a sense of magic pouring off of the pages.
