12 Autumn Moments

I am in such a mood this week, I’ve been really stressed for the last few weeks and I’ve had a rough couple of days of just getting kicked when I’m down. Because of all this, I’ve noticed that my mood has been like “fuck it” for the last couple of days.

My apathy levels are through the roof so I have this attitude of I don’t care, it sucks and I know that but I just seem to have something

I hate being in this kind of mood and I can never seem to simply get out it, I need to look at like 3 hours worth of Faith in Humanity Restored memes. Its the only way to pull me out of this funk. I just need a good cry and the reminder that some good in the world still exists and I can contribute to it if I JUST CHANGE MY DAMN ATTITUDE. I just hate being in this funk. This kind of mood always seems to affect my reading as well and how I receive that book.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words. Simply answer the following questions:

I flew through Tara’s story, her storytelling was captivating, and her life is just indescribable. There are points of this where I had to remind myself that it’s not dystopian fiction, its real life and it’s her childhood. I was continuously baffled by her parents and the logic that they would twist and cherry-pick. I was also constantly angry at the way her family would treat women as simply objects and roles such as mother, maid, cook. These women weren’t allowed to have their own identity and it made me so angry.

I am about a third of the way through and while I’m enjoying it I am also having a hard time getting a feel for Stevie’s personality, sometimes the way she acts or thinks surprises me because I was expecting a different reaction. Once I’m able to place those expectations aside I think I’ll be able to enjoy this much more. Once I was able to fully get into the story, I flew through about 70 pages like it was nothing.

Pretty Little Liars meets The Breakfast Club? Sign me the F up. I binge-watched Pretty Little Liars for about three weeks straight a few years ago and got so burnt out. I’ve always gone back and forth on if I want to start over but there are so many other shows I wanna watch instead.

That’s my week, I’m holding out hope that this weekend is better than the last one. I plan on lots of hermiting, maybe building a blanket nest for some reading and video gaming.
