Good Morning and Happy Wednesday!
I had a realization earlier this week that were halfway through the month of September and I’ve only read one book! Honestly that motivated me more then anything else.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words. Simply answer the following questions:
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I finally finished Five Dark Fates by Kendare Blake, while it did take me a while to finish it, that’s more to do with me and trying to break through my reading slump rather than an issue with the book.
I’m low key devastated that this quartet has come to an end, I loved this series since book 1 and I think that this wrapped up the entire series nicely.
You can see a visible amount of growth that the characters go through for each book and I think that all the character arc endings made sense for each sister. If anyone was hesitating on starting this series, just know that I really encourage you to give it a shot.

After finishing Five Dark Fates I decided to pick up Educated by Tara Westover, this is a popular memoir that was published last year. I’m not huge on nonfiction but this has been calling out to me lately. The synopsis of this book leaves me feeling inspired and at the time of writing this, I am 60 pages into it.
All I can say at this point is that I am baffled because I truly don’t think I have ever meet anyone quite like her parents and I’m not sure what I think of them and their mindset.
I also think its fascinating to see how education was not only withheld but passionately discouraged and yet 3 of the 7 children had this fundamental desire to chase down their own ways of learning.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve been in the mood for some mystery novels so I think I’m going to try out Truly Devious, I also might pick up One of Us is Lying sometime over the weekend.
That’s it for my reading week, its nice to feel like the reading slump is lifting.
I can’t wait to try Educated! I’ve read some great reviews on it and the premise is interesting! 🙂 My WWW had mainly romance and fantasy on it but I’m keen to add some books with deeper issues on to my Reading Next section. Great post! ❤ Jen

Educated is so interesting! There are points where I just feel baffled by the extremities that the parents go to and I have to remind myself that this isn’t dystopian it’s her childhood
