Next Year In Havana
by Chanel Cleeton

I enjoyed this so much, the writing was beautiful and felt like I was reading a love letter to Cuba. The story was really interesting, especially when Marisol’s grandmother was telling her story. I want more now and I really want a Beatriz story.

The Hollow Crown
by Jeff Wheeler

I was actually really disappointed in this and I think it’s because I didn’t care for the main character the same way I cared about Owen. The book didn’t have any of Owens cleverness or any of the traits that made him so likable, but his daughter thought that she had those traits but they didn’t shine through.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone
by Laini Taylor

I’m so close to being done with this, I have less than a hundred pages and I know that I could just fly through the rest of this book like its nothing but I don’t want to finish it yet, even though I know there are two other and I’ve read the two other books.

A Breath of Snow and Ashes
by Diana Gabaldon

I have this for my next audiobook and I’m a little nervous and a little excited to start this, I just hope that the plot really picks up in this one.

  1. I felt the same way while reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone! It was so hard to take my time with it because it’s SO GOOD, but I also didn’t want to finish it because I wanted to linger in the world as long as possible. I still haven’t read the third one because I just don’t want it to be over!
