Wonder Woman Book Tag!

I was in the mood to do a tag and was scrolling through my reader looking to see if anything was going to pop up and what did I find? A tag for one of my top favorite movies! A tag centered around one of my top obsessions?

What are the odds that I would get so lucky?

This is perfect thank you so so much LairofBooks!

I’ve been sitting on this draft for so long and I don’t even know why but I finally decided to either post it or delete it.

Wonder Woman: Your favorite badass female book character…

Vasya from The Bear and The Nightingale. She’s a total badass who isn’t afraid to be herself in a world and time where there are serious consequences for not sticking to social norms

Themyscira: A book setting you want to escape to…

I think my default answer for this type of question is always going to be Middle Earth.

London: A hyped book that let you down…

Iron Gold by Pierce Brown. I was so disappointed with this and I’m not sure if I’m going to continue on with the rest of the books.

Steve Trevor: A book that has a beautiful cover and a great story (i.e. good personality)…

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. A beautiful cover and a great start to an amazing trilogy.

Lasso of Truth: A book you hated…

giphy (2)

The Picture of Dorian Gray, could not stand it for multiple reasons.

Wonder Woman’s Shield: A book so sad that you need a shield…

giphy

Dear Martin, there was one part in the second half of the book that had me sobbing so much I had to put the book down and walk away for a couple minutes. Even thinking about it or describing why it made me cry will make me tear up all over again.

Ares: a villain that is scary, but you can’t seem to hate them…

Ares

I thought about this for a while and I think I have to go with Pennywise from It. I can’t seem to hate him because he’s a chaos entity and he’s doing his job and creating a lot of chaos.

The Amazons: A book that you wish had more/better LGBT+ representation…

giphy (5)

I don’t have a specific book in mind but more of a genre that I think needs more LGBT+ rep and that’s New Adult. A few days ago I was searching for a NA romance with an f/f relationship and I found next to nothing. But, if you search for m/m relationships there aren’t many results but there are more then f/f, most of the f/f results are just straight up erotica, nothing focusing on relationships or anything else. I think this opened a whole can of worms but it was something I wanted to talk about.

And if you have any NA romances with an f/f relationship recommendations, please share.

Justice League: What superhero book friends do you tag…
