March 5: Characters I’d Like To Switch Places With

This prompt kind of stumped me for a bit simply because there are loads of book worlds I would love to insert myself into but do I really want to switch places with a character when I know what kind of shit show they are going to face?

Or there are characters where I don’t really want to take their place but I want to be them.

Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice – Do I even need to explain myself???

Claire Fraser, Outlander– Again, is an explanation truly needed?

Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone- Its not that I want to switch places with her per se, more like I just want to be her.

Amy from Amy and Rogers Epic Detour- Epic road trip with the human cinnamon roll that is Roger? I’m there.

Lundy from In An Absent Dream- I’ve said it before and Ill say it again but I loved the Goblin Market and would love to be there.

Calla from The Simple Wild- I would switch places with Calla in a heartbeat and spend some time with the prickly-around-the-edges-but-has-a-heart-of-gold Jonah who also has a giant book collection. Done and done the man is mine and I call dibs.

Vivian from Moxie-  I would love to be able to work beside her and join her on her mission to bring justice to the girls of her high school.

Aubree from Wanderlost- Aubree drove me bonkers with her whining about having to tour Europe instead of spending the summer in Ohio, Ill gladly take her place.

Audrey from Bittersweet- Taking Audrey’s place in Vermont wont be any kind of hardship, I would love to take my time and stroll among the apple trees at the farm and helping the Shipley’s make their cider.

Cleo from Falling Kingdoms- I already named one of my cats after Cleo so I think my next step would be taking her place.
