Building My Book Cart

Book Cart

“I have zero self control” is a statement I’ve consistently stated several times in the post. I know I’ve said in several of my book hauls and now in this post as well. Sometimes when I get an idea or an urge stuck in my mind its all I can do to resist it and sometimes that energy just builds up in my mind and explodes with me rushing to the store to buy whatever it is that’s consuming me.

That’s what happened a couple weeks ago with my book haul and it happened again with this book cart.

I rushed over to my nearest Target on my lunch break when I learned that Target had two of these left in their store and that it was only 30 dollars. I was so happy to find it and set it up.

I found this to be a simple set up, the instructions are straight forward and you don’t need any extra tools since they provide the allen wrench needed. I think it took me about 15 minutes to set up and part of that was trying to keep my cat away from the plastic bags so she didn’t asphyxiate herself. I don’t know what it is but she loves plastic bags, just the crinkly sound of one sends her into a spastic frenzy.

After I got this all fixed up my bf tried to straddle it and ride it around our living room, it held up thankfully. Here’s my cart pictured below.

I honestly don’t know quite what to do with it. I can double stack paperbacks in it but it makes it slightly difficult to take one out, I cant double stack my tall hardbacks, there isn’t room. I’m not quite sure what to store there but Ill wait until I get new bookshelves and do a big reorganization.

Let me know if you have one of these and what you store on it.

If you have any ideas for me please let me know below.
