12 Autumn Moments

I haven’t been reading much (that seems to be the new usual catchphrase for me). I did spend quite a bit of my weekend watching Avatar the Last Airbender. My bf has never seen it before so I’m making him watch it, we just finished season 1 last night and I am so excited to start season 2 and see my favorite character again. Rewatching this series has been so much fun and as a kid, I didn’t realize how sarcastic the show is, as an adult I’m very much enjoying the sarcasm and sass all of the characters have.

Also, I got to go over to my cousin’s house to see his new cat, I was so excited to meet this cat and the cat hated me. That was a bit heartbreaking.

Mansfield Park
by Jane Austen

I’m all out of Jane Austen novels to read. This isn’t one of my favorite Austen novels, I was so bored with the story and Edmund is an underwhelming Austen hero. Fanny was great with her grace. P.S. there’s a character named Mrs. Norris and I can’t picture her as anything but a cat.

The Winter of the Witch
by Katherine Arden

I feel betrayed by this book, I was so shocked by the first 15 pages and it kind of put me out. Its taken me a moment to try to get back into the story.

The Kingdom of Copper
by S.A. Chakraborty

The City of Brass was amazing and I fully believe that The Kingdom of Copper will surpass it and meet the high expectations I have.
