WWW Wednesday 2/13

WWW Wednesdays

I am snowed in.
I’ve been snowed in since Saturday and I am going stir crazy, I don’t remember the last time we’ve gotten this much snow. One would think I would reading my little heart out but I haven’t been in a huge reading mood, although I did start and finish a book which I’ll talk about. I’ve been watching a bit of TV, I just binged on the BBC version of Emma. I didn’t love the book but this show made me love Mr Knightley so much more. I also finished American Gods and started Russian Doll.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words. Simply answer the following questions:

What did you recently finish reading?

What are you currently reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

by Kiersten White

I really enjoyed this, I’ve written a full review that you could read here.

The Simple Wild
by K. A. Tucker

Oh my poor heart, I was not expecting the full range of emotions that I felt while reading this, I had a steady stream of tears flowing during the last 40 or so pages.

What are you currently reading?

The Winter of the Witch
by Katherine Arden

I think being snowed in will provide perfect atmosphere to read this book in. Arden writes so vividly about winter and snow and I feel like I’ll be able to fully immerse myself in the story for what I’m sure will be a wonderful finale.

Mansfield Park
by Jane Austen

Im currently only 50 pages in so I dont have much of a feel yet but I’m excited to be back in an Austen novel and curious what I’m going to do with myself once I dont have any others.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Nightingale
by Kristin Hannah

I was planning on picking up Crazy Rich Asians but I’m currently finding myself in the mood for some historical fiction and I always intended to read this during the winter. I also want to read The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah after reading the Simple Wild I want more of an Alaskan setting, but I want to read this first before I pick up her other novel.

What are you reading this week?
