I’ve been slacking on reading for the last couple of days, I’m still not quite recovered from my reading slump, but I’m making progress. I did start watching Brooklyn 99 and have been really enjoying that, I’m about halfway through season 2 right now. Terry and Rosa are my absolute favorites, both of them make me laugh so much.
I also started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I’ve always been a huge fan of Buffy but it’s been years since I’ve watched any of it. I had forgotten how nineties the first season is with the special effects and action scenes, but I’m also really enjoying my rewatch. I had also forgotten how much I hated Xander, he is the worst!

Queen of Air and Darkness

I finally finished this! While I did enjoy it I did not love it. Something felt off about the whole story and as crazy as it sounds it feels like there was something missing, despite how many events and details took place. Some of the characters felt like cardboard cutouts of themselves and there were just so many points that didn’t make sense to me and weren’t answered. I can’t believe that the Wicked Powers won’t be here until 2022 and I just want to know what’s going to happen next!

I broke book law and watched the movie before I read the book and I just cannot stop thinking about the movie. I want to rewatch it and read the book finally. I have a feeling that Ill be picking up the sequel and third book soon to marathon this series.
