WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words. Simply answer the following questions:

What did you recently finish reading?

What are you currently reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

The first WWW of the year! Woo!!
2018 is finally over and I was so over it. It didn’t end on a good note for me so I was ready for this new year.

What did you recently finish reading?

Roomies
by Christina Lauren

I adored the comedy that the book brought to the table but some of the tropes really made me cringe. Other than that I enjoyed this a lot more.

Muse of Nightmares
by Laini Tayor

This was breathtakingly beautiful, it’s not that I forgot how wonderful Laini Taylor’s writing is, its just that my memory doesn’t do it justice. This is an amazing sequel to Strange the Dreamer and the way it built on itself is also incredible.

Record of a Spaceborn Few
by Becky Chambers

I started this last year and had to put it down for a long time because I wasn’t really into it, then the other day I decided that I wanted to finish it and downloaded the audiobook, the narrator was amazing but there was constant background noise that was a bit distracting.

What are you currently reading?

51u35tltzbl._sx327_bo1,204,203,200_The Girl in the Tower
by Katherine Arden

Right now I’m 80 pages in and I really like it, there have been some slow parts that I’ve needed to push myself through. Other than that, this has been really enjoyable and I can’t wait to get back into it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Winter of the Witch
by Katherine Arden

I have a feeling that I’m going to want this right away.

Drums of Autumn
by Diana Gabaldon

As I mentioned in my 2019 goals, I really want to read more of the Outlander series and now is as good as time as any.

  1. I’m might be reading Roomies next because I’m in a mood for some light, fun read right now. And I’ve been seeing it on many blogs recently, so I feel like it’s a world saying to me that I should read it 🙂

  2. I love the Winternight Trilogy. I just finished The Winter Witch yesterday and it was sheer perfection. The Girl in the Tower is still my favorite of the three though. I am jealous you get to read it right now for the first time.
