I love the Deweys 24 hour readathon! I’ve talked about Dewey’s readathon before a couple of times, I even wrote a blog post about why I like readathons. So I thought I would share my TBR and see if anyone else is planning on participating. I’ve had my TBR planned for a little while, nothing too set in stone but I kind of intended to read some of these during the readathon.

My TBR:
Books-
It– not the whole thing but I’ve been reading 40 pages every day throughout the month of October so I know there’s going to be 40 pages to read that day.
The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding– This was my intended Dewey’s read and one I’ve been looking forward to for a year or so.
Sea Witch– This is a recent addition to the TBR but it sounds like a novel that I’m to love and be able to fly through and that’s just perfect for a readathon.
Little Monsters– This is a last-minute addition to the TBR but it sounds like a nice fall read and I’ve kinda been saving it for this season, 24-hour readathon sounds like a perfect time to pick this up.
Graphic Novels- Spider Qwen: Most Wanted, Silk: The Life and Times of Cindy Moon, Darth Vader: Vader, Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death
I have these to kinda fill in between books, its hard for me to finish a book and immediately hop into another but it’s not the same with graphic novels for some reason. So I intend to read some of these in between the books up there. Like I’ll read my 40 pages of It and pick up Spider Gwen, and then I’ll pick up Prosper Redding, if I finish that Ill pick up Silk and then Sea Witch, you get the drill.
I’m trying to think if I have any new tips, in my readathon post I briefly talked about the usefulness of a crock pot.
If you have a programmable coffee pot, set it to turn on about 10 minutes before you have to wake up for your start time (if yours is early in the morning like mine.) so that you just have to roll out of bed and go get coffee to wake up. It seems obvious but I forgot that mine can do that, I’ve only used that feature for when I had to get up early to go to the airport.
I cannot say this enough but plan your meals out, if you can make them the day before and all you have to do is heat them up! Also, snacks help, I feel like sometimes they give me this little boost of energy, not a lot but enough.
