What did you recently finish reading?

All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover
I really enjoyed this book, I loved seeing this journey of a husband and wife finding their way back to each other and the light Colleen shone on such a difficult topic and how it affected not only Quinn but the way it affected Graham too.

NeverNight by Jay Kristoff
There were a lot of things I really liked about it, it’s such a unique world, the action, and the writing is great. I adore the characters and I can’t wait to see what happens next. However, it felt a bit slow for me, pacing wise, there was just so much set up. It starts up with the narrator telling us about the legend of the girl and then we start off at the beginning of the story and it was just a little slow, not bad, but just know that its there.

What are you currently reading?

I am still slowly making my way through this,  I am halfway through right now and my hope is to buckle down over the weekend and just finish it.

The Inexplicable Logic of my Life
I have a post going up tomorrow about TBR books that I’ve intended to read but never got to, this is one of those books that has been on multiple TBRs now and I am going to sit down and finally read it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

What I thought was True
In my attempt to enjoy the last few weeks of summer and nice weather, I am going to try to read up my contemporary books because I love reading them in the summer, it’s just so fitting. I really enjoyed Huntley’s other novels and want to read this one soon.

I’ve been on a Sarah Dessen kick over the last summer and this summer. I only have two of her novels left, this one and What Happened to Goodbye, I’m a little hesitant to get into this one since I know it’s about a heavy topic and it’ll be a little hard to get through.

What are you reading this week?
