Biannual Bibliothon Wrap Up

1. Read the group book The Wicked Deep (I’ve already read it so I’m skipping this challenge)
2. Choose from someone else’s TBR
3. Try the first chapter of 3 books and pick 1
4.) Read a book that has been on your TBR for over a year
5. Read a predicted 5 star read
6. Own voices- different from you
7. Read the last book you brought

My Plain Jane (Last Book I Bought)
I gave this one 4.5 out of 5 stars it was everything that I could have possibly wanted, I loved all of the references and the pop culture, the humor was great.

A Reaper at the Gates (I just really want to read this soon)
That ending, actually no, that entire story! Way to tug my emotions left and right. I found this to be super intense from start to finish. I know some people felt like it dragged in the beginning but I didn’t find that to be the case at all.

They Both Die at the End (Ownvoices and I saw it on someone else’s tbr)
Oh my god, I am not okay and I knew that I wasn’t going to be okay and that’s why I put off reading it for almost a year. 4 out of 5 stars

Eliza and Her Monsters (TBR over a year)
I am so happy that I finally read this, it was amazing and I loved it so much. I loved all the drawings and I wish I could get Eliza’s comic in print. 5 out of 5 stars

Lif3like (Predicted 5-star read)
Wasnt able to get to this one 😦

Persuasion (audiobook)
I didn’t really care for this one, not in the same way as Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, it felt really slow and just didn’t do it for me really. I do think I will be rereading this at some point. 3 out of 5 stars

Frankenstein (audiobook)
This wasn’t fully what I was expecting, I was expecting a little bit more action and less narrating. But I liked the story and I loved the themes the book had and the reflection of Frankenstein and the Monster. 4 out of 5 stars
