I adore Edgar Allan Poe’s stories and poems. I love how atmospheric and creepy they are. I just recently read some of his stories to get in the Halloween mood – and they did wonders. 😀
I really want to read 1984. I have read Animal Farm and it became my favourite. Ever since then I have been intrigued with 1984, but whenever I visit my local bookstore they don’t have the edition that I want. Sooo it’s not happening for some time.

I’ve only read Animal Farm as well but I’ve heard amazing things about 1984, maybe amazing isn’t the right word but I’ve heard that it’s really good

Awesome haul! I always think my hauls aren’t so bad until I gather all my books for pictures and then I’m like “nooo that’s not right.” haha.
