WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words. Simply answer the following questions:

What have you recently finished reading?

What are you currently reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m really bummed, the other day I found out that the readathon (Slay that Series) that I was really excited about and really pumped about was rescheduled. My excitement really deflated from there, but oh well right?

What have you recently finished reading?

The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

God this book was pretty great, it was an incredibly slow start but it really picked up after about 50 pages or so.

My Life with the Walter Boys by Ali Novak

Overall I was a bit disappointed with this. I may go and read the Wattpad version sometime soon but I wasn’t impressed with the published version.

What are you currently reading?

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

I am so excited for this! Even though I am about 110% sure that it is going to break my heart and crush my soul. Bring it on.

The Absolute True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

One of my coworkers lent this to me so I’m trying to read it quickly so I can get it back to her. If you didn’t know, I work at a native american Tribal Government and this book takes place in Skokomish WA, which is in the same area that I am from. That is pretty cool and I am excited to dive into this. I’ve heard a lot of great things about it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I really want to get to both of these and to determine which one I am going to read first I am planning on reading 5 chapters of each book and seeing which one captures my attention most, and then I’ll go from there.

Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken

The Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness

Those are my reading plans for the week, what are yours?

Which book do you think I should pick up first: Never Fade or The Ask and the Answer?

  1. Now that Crooked Kingdom is out, I can finally start Six of Crows, haha! The Absolute True Diary of a Part Time Indian sounds very interesting! Every time I see a book by Ness on a post, I remember I need to finally read one of his stories. Happy reading!

  2. Yay! I’m so glad you enjoyed The Knife of Never Letting Go (well “enjoyed” isnt the right word in places, but it’s so good!). It does take a while to get going, and the formatting can be annoying in places, but the series is terrific. You have lots to look forward to!
I have to order my copy of Crooked Kingdom today. And then avoid spoilers! I think I’ll just have to stay away from twitter and skip past all the reviews 🙂
Thanks for visiting my WWW (https://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2016/09/28/www-wednesday-28th-september-2016/) and happy reading!

  3. I’m really glad to hear that you enjoyed The Knife of Never Letting Go! This is one of my all time favourite trilogies and I can’t wait to see what you are going to think of the other two books. 🙂
I CAN’T wait to start reading Crooked Kingdom! My copy hasn’t arrived yet (and I’m dying from the wait), but it should be here soon.
