WWW Wednesday 8/3

WWW Wednesdays

I am so tired. My plane didn’t land in Washington last night until 10:00 p.m. and I didn’t get home until about 12:30 a.m. only to have to wake up at 6:30 this morning to go to work. I’m still on Hawaiian time and while it may be 9 a.m. in Washington, it’s 6 am in Hawaii. I already know it’s going to be a long day.

And I have come to a conclusion. Traveling is for social people.
I am not a very social person and everyone at work keeps coming up and asking how my trip was, they don’t want any details they just want to hear that it was good.

I was planning on writing a long post about my trip and adding in pictures of everything but lately, I’ve been thinking that I’m going to create a separate page for my trip, so I will have that up soon…within the next few days for sure.

only 12 hours until I can go back to bed! (But it’s not like I’m counting or anything….11 hours and 59 minutes to go…)

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words. Simply answer the following questions:

What have you recently finished reading?

What are you currently reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What have you recently finished reading?

I hit a bit of a reading slump so I picked up some NA novels hoping they would help keep the slump at bay, it helped but I still feel slumpy. On the bright side, I loved all of these and read each book in about one sitting, I was glued to my e-reader.

Bittersweet by Sarina Bowen

I loved this so much! It was so good and wonderfully smutty, I was addicted to this and I could not put it down.

Paper Princess by Erin Watt

I have a lot of love for this book and was so glad that I decided to pick this up.

Broken Prince by Erin Watt

That ending was so cruel!!!

What are you currently reading?

I don’t know what I want to read at all! Does this happen to anyone else? I’ll think of a book to read and that will be option 1, but then another book will pop in my head and I’ll think, yes I’ll read that one, but then ANOTHER book comes to mind and this just keeps happening over and over and I can’t decide what to read! 😦 it’s so overwhelming!

I think the fact that I’m a bit overwhelmed from traveling and jumping back into work isn’t helping, I think once I get unpacked and cross off stuff from my to-do list I’ll have a better chance to pick up something to read.

Today I brought Golden Son with me to read on lunch and on breaks but if it’s not gonna be doing it for me then I won’t force myself to read it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Hopefully, something that gets me out of my reading slump.

I might go over to Barnes and Noble today to pick up It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover, CoHo usually helps with book slumps.

Thanks for reading this pretty chatty post, what are you reading this week? Do you recommend anything to cure the reading slump?

  1. I hope CoHo can break the slump!
I’m glad you had a good holiday, even if the journey home and going straight back to work has left you tired. Could you make a sign for your desk that says, “My vacation was great. Please bring coffee instead of questions. Thank you.” ? 🙂

Thanks for visiting my WWW post earlier (https://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2016/08/03/www-wednesday-3rd-august-2016/) and I hope the hours to bedtime fly by 🙂
