Barnes and Noble Shenanigans

This is an addition to the Ongoing List of Reasons Why Cassidy Shouldn’t Have a Credit Card. I seriously shouldn’t but at least, I’m responsible enough to know that lol. Adult Points for trying? Eh, I’ll give them to myself anyways.

The Princess Bride by William Goldman

I love this movie, I’ve watched it dozens of times growing up and recently made my BF watch it for the first time. I can’t wait to sit down and read this, though, especially since books are always better then the movies 🙂

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms by George R.R. Martin

I have mixed feelings about this book, on one hand I’m expected to read it, I love the world of Westeros, and Martin’s writing is always something that I enjoy. On the other hand, if I remember right, the publication of this book PUSHED BACK WINDS OF WINTER and I REALLY want that book! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Can you tell I’m frustrated about Winds of Winter? I just need it in my life right about NOW.

Nightmare before Christmas by Tim Burton

EEEEE! I was so excited to get this book, I love the Nightmare before Christmas and reading the picture book was so fun. I loved the illustrations.

Omg real quick. Children’s books are so outragously priced! Its extortion! I was baffled to see a kids book costing almost 20 dollars. I only bought it because I had a 20% off coupon and when it doubled with my membership it took the price down big time, enough to where I was okay spending that money.

Of course I had to jump on this, I actually had it preordered but forgot to mention it in my online haul. 🙂

There we go part two of my shopaholic binge.
Until next time.

  1. I can totally relate! I actually went inside B&N yesterday to buy a present for a friend…and I actually managed to get in and out without buying more than the one book! I was so freaking proud…then I came home and ended up buying like 12 books from Book outlet. Well at least I was a proper adult half the day 😊
